One Search. Every Customer. Across Your Entire Org.
Your customer data lives in 5 different places — Monday.com, spreadsheets, email, Procore, and someone's memory. When a new estimator joins, they have zero context on existing relationships. PE Ontology gives everyone a single, searchable source of truth.
The Customer Data Problem in Construction
Tribal knowledge walks out the door
When an estimator leaves, they take 10 years of customer relationships with them. The next person starts from zero because the relationships were never in a system.
Duplicate records everywhere
The same customer appears in Monday.com, the company spreadsheet, and 3 different proposal databases — each with slightly different information. Nobody knows which version is current.
No cross-company visibility
Portfolio companies maintain separate customer databases. Nobody knows that Company A and Company B both have relationships with the same Fortune 500 manufacturer.
Your Complete Customer Intelligence Platform
Every contact, every company, every relationship — searchable, deduplicated, and connected to your deal pipeline.
Universal Contact Search
Search any name, company, email, or phone across your entire customer database. Results show the contact's company, title, deal history, and which portfolio company has the relationship.
Smart Deduplication
Three-tier matching (domain 95%, address 90%, email 85%) automatically identifies duplicate records. Merge or keep separate — you decide. No more 5 versions of the same customer.
Portfolio Contact Directory
Every contact uploaded by every portfolio company, organized and searchable. Filter by company, state, estimator, project value, or timeline. Export to CSV for mailers or campaigns.
Company Profiles
Each customer company has a profile showing all contacts, active deals, project history, and which portfolio companies serve them. One click to see the full relationship.
Cross-Portfolio Relationships
See which customers are shared across portfolio companies. The overlap detection engine identifies relationships you didn't know existed — unlocking warm introduction opportunities.
Data Isolation
Each portfolio company's customer data is isolated by default. Only overlap matches are shared — the underlying customer lists are never exposed across company boundaries.
Import From Any System
Export customer data from your existing CRM as CSV and upload it. Our smart column mapper auto-detects company name, domain, address, and contact fields.

Contact Management FAQ
What data do I need to import?
Minimum: company name. For better matching: website domain, address, city, state, ZIP. For contact-level detail: contact name, email, phone, title. CSV export from any CRM works.
How does deduplication work?
Three-tier matching: domain match (95% confidence), street address match (90%), and contact email match (85%). The system flags potential duplicates for your review — it never auto-merges without your approval.
Can new team members see all historical contacts?
Yes. Every contact in the system is searchable by any team member with access to that network. When a new estimator joins, they instantly have context on every customer relationship — no more starting from zero.
Is customer data shared between portfolio companies?
No. Each company's customer list is isolated. Only overlap matches (shared customers) are visible across companies. The underlying data stays within each company's boundary.
Can I export contact data for direct mail campaigns?
Yes. Filter contacts by any criteria (state, company, estimator, value) and export to CSV. The export includes name, company, address, email — everything you need for mailers.
